We first met Steve Fisher at the Patients First Bus Rally at McKean Park near Erie. He spoke on Health Care and received a standing ovation and a great deal of applause from everyone there. We were so impressed by Steve, that we invited him to speak at the NW PA Labor Day Tea Party in Waterford, Pa. Steve received the same reception after his speech there. Steve Fisher is the type of candidate we have been looking for. He is a statesman, not a politician, and there is a great deal of difference!…

Boys and girls I am new to this . If what I have to say has already been done I beg your forgiveness. My job allows for a lot of talk radio. I am really tired of the statement that I have to vote for someone because they have an R behind thier name. It is that mind set that helped us to this point. Newt G started losing credibility with me a couple of years ago. After I heard the interview as to why he is backing Democrat lite in New York State I am done with his point of view. By Newts way of t…

My name is Shane Louthian. I am the campaign manager for Sgt. Robert Allen Mansfield Republican canidate for Lt. Governor in 2010.
The most interesting thing about the Sarge, is that he cares about the things that we, the Tea party guys, care about. He will not poo-poo out issues. Less taxes, smaller government (at least on the State level, we'll work on the Federal Government later), deregulation were it is needed, and regulation where it is needed.
In order to get Sgt. Mansfield in there to do…

of a thousand miles begins with the first step.
We are on the verge of losing our "edge"; everything that made this country great is under attack. We can no longer sit idly by- action or submission are our only options. The struggle will not be easy and it will not be over quickly. We must raise our voices...and we must do it now. The task seem daunting- but all journeys seem dainting in the beginning.

I operate Solar Electric Power Systems Inc. I know a lot of us are a little leery of the new technology. I have a been a Journeyman/Master Electrician for 20+ years. I have always been interested in alternative energy sources i.e.: Solar, Wind, etc. The technology has finally come around now to where it is worth the time and money to install a system. The Federal Government is giving a 30% tax credit, which has no cap and runs till 2016, G. W. Bush signed that back in October of 08. Also PA is g…

My Watershed Moment
As I think back to the days of my childhood, when simplicity was the norm but we thought the world was ending, when our bicycle tire was flat. We played with all the other kids and never saw color or religion. I think of a day when I went fishing with my father and life was all about that moment. I remember all I wanted was to catch a fish, and as I got bored with that I just wanted to throw rocks in the water, or explore the banks of the lake in search of who knows what. Th…

War they say is Necessary
Since the beginning of time the human race has always fought over something: food, shelter, land and water. All these are necessary to the survival of humankind, but what of war now? Saddam Hussein’s threat of chemical and biological weapons was our reasoning. An attack on American soil was our reasoning. A terrorist training camp was our reasoning. The suppression of a nation by an evil dictator was our reasoning. Many reasons are justifications of war, even love at t…

State Budget
